Attention: the 2023/2024 Lodz Civic Budget is about to start!

What is it? The Lodz Civic Budget is a separate part of the budget of the City of Lodz, the allocation of which to specific projects submitted by the citizens of Lodz is decided (by voting) by the inhabitants of Lodz themselves.

From 8 to 29 May, all Lodz residents can submit projects within the framework of the LCB. All you need is a good idea and some willingness.

What projects have been implemented under the LCB in the past year? Here are some examples:
– free access to e-books and audiobooks for Lodz residents at branches of the Lodz City Library;
– ice skating lessons at the Retkinia ice rink,
– smog-free Lodz,
– free self-defence training for women.
– revitalisation of the Lublinek wilderness….
